Confetti’s Masquerade Ball

New pictures of a favourite polish of mine… Confetti’s Masquerade Ball has a blackened base with wine red shimmer that glows beautifully. It is the perfect vampy polish 🙂

 

Drastic electricity

Ahh, a seasonal glitter gradient! China Glaze’s deep red Drastic was the perfect base for this. I used a make up sponge to add a touch of Revlon’s Gold Coin in a gradient and lastly did the same with China Glaze’s Electrify.

  

China Glaze’s Drastic

China Glaze’s Drastic is a deep red jelly that looks just delicious on your nails. Perfect formula; opaque at three coats, decent application and a fast drying time.

Jelleh sammich

I was in the mood for a jelly sandwich. I grabbed the closest compatible polish, Essie’s Spaghetti Strap and painted two coats. I dabbed/painted on one coat of Kleancolor’s Starry Blue which was a pain in the ass to get even… it cointains both prismatic and blue glitter but I managed to get almost only blue glitter on most nails, as you can see ._. it’s not pretty… I finished with one last coat of Spaghetti Strap.

And a reminder to myself: You need more jellies! 😀

China Glaze’s Stone Cold

China Glaze’s Stone Cold is a lovely charcoal matte shimmer. It’s a solid one coater when painted properly and dries fast (as all mattes do). It’s one of my favorites 🙂

Snowfall on stone

As I thought… I never finished the Holiday Nail Art Challenge… Oh well 🙂 I had fun while it lasted. I also broke two of my nails while cleaning yesterday. So, I’m back to nubbins 🙂

I did something similar earlier and quite liked the result. China Glaze’s matte charcoal Stone Cold is a lovely base for the dotted snowfall made with Gina Tricot’s White. I’ve decided to start separating swatches and nail art into two posts to make it easy for myself 🙂

  

Gold for Alexis

Another manicure with Gina Tricot’s purple/pink/red Alexis 🙂 I did a tape mani with Barry M’s Gold Foil on top and taped the edges with golden striping tape.

 

Snowfall

Rimmel London’s Block Your Green is a lovely cool green leaning on teal. The color is stunning and it has a lovely shimmer to it. On top I painted two coats of Nubar’s White Polka Dot that looks a lot like slow snowfall 🙂

Snow white in the Alps

I wanted to make a seasonal manicure with a white base and picked HM’s Snow White with OPI’s Alpine Snow as underwear. On top I dotted two rows with Barry M’s Silver Foil and stuck red and green rhinestones on each dot.

 

Ancient powers

Ah, I just love this kind of color combination. Cult Nails’ Power Thief and Orly’s Ancient Jade are perfect for eachother 🙂 I used hole reinforcers to create this half moon manicure.
