Combining red and white in nail art walks a very fine line of being too christmasy and unfortunately this nail art crosses the line… Butter London’s red creme Pillar Box Red was the base for stamping with Gina Tricot’s creme White and Cheeky’s Jumbo Plate.
It’s Blue Monday over at Linda’s Nailorama today and I have another coaster manicure for you! 😛 I don’t care what they look like… I love them both because of how they look and the amount of work put into them! They’re quite easy to do, there’s infinite color possibilities and they are cuuute.
China Glaze’s Flyin’ High is the base for dotting with China Glaze’s white creme Snow and Essie’s blue shimmer Bikini So Teeny. Did you notice that the dots of Snow on top of Bikini So Teeny look pale, pale pink? Weird!
It’s Blue Monday over at Lindas Nailorama!
Sinful Colors’ blue Why Not was the base for some clouds dotted with China Glaze’s Snow. I spent the easter holiday at my boyfriends familys cabin in the mountains and we had some awesome weather with sunshine and lovely springy temperatures and that got me thinking about summer and… well. Yes. We’re ready for summer now, aren’t we?
Pretty & Polished’s Party On My Yacht is such a pretty indie. With a milky base and a ton of small hex glitter in purple, pink, green and gold and the odd stray blue bar glitter it looks amazing on your nails.
Party On My Yacht applied like a dream, was opaque at two coats, the glitters were distributed evenly and dried fast enough.
It’s Nail Art Sunday over at LeLack again! My favorite day of the week polish wise 🙂 the theme for this week was free and since I just love to combine stamping and dotting I decided on using both techniques together with a rhinestone.
Gina Tricot’s alizarine red creme Great Love (color accurate pictures here) is the base for some dotting and stamping with China Glaze’s white creme Snow. .
As usual there’s smudging from when I applied top coat. I really need to be more patient 😛 it’s just not a virtue of mine…
Pretty & Polished’s Jawbreaker is a milky jelly with a ton of different sized and shaped glitters. It contains both medium hexagon glitter in yellow, blue and red aswell as large and tiny blue hexagon glitter. Add to that stray green bar glitter and we have mayhem! The good kind of mayhem though
This was incedibly easy to apply; went on smooth, good distribution of the glitters, needed two coats for opacity and dried fast enough.
And it does look exactly like Jawbreakers
After all these red and golden christmas themed manicures I have a craving for blue, green and grey. I used Orly’s deep teal creme Sapphire Silk as the base, China Glaze’s white creme Snow in the middle and lastly OPI’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
This was one of my first attempts and I have to say… I really like painting these cloud manicures 🙂
