There have been very few additions to my stash lately but Nubar’s My Sweet Escape collection is one of them.
In general I prefer to use Nubar for day to day manicures because of their (unique for me) ability to NOT chip after less then 24 hours.

In the most recent Glossy box I got Color Club’s bright turquoise creme Age of Aquarius. Application was flawless, it was opaque at two coats and dried fast.

There hasn’t been much time to join Nail Art Sunday over at LeLack’s lately but I do have a Disney themed manicure for you today. I love Up the movie from Pixar (which is owned by Disney) and decided to create a manicure based on the iconic picture of their house floating under a huge cluster of balloons 🙂 The pictures are awkward and the result is so-so but I had a ton of fun painting it.
I used a multitude of polishes for this manicure.. China Glaze’s For Audrey as the base, Gina Tricot’s Must Have and White for the house and also a black marker for the black lines. For the balloons I used Gina Tricot’s Marina, Raspberry and Lemon, HM’s Workout Orange, Color Club’s Age of Aquarius and NYX’s Flip Flop.
Asymmetrical stamping is a new favorite of mine and here I used Barry M’s Gold Foil over Cult Nails’ rubbery matte black Fetish for some golden paisleys.

Ah, I adore matte black polishes and this has to be my favorite so far! I was a bit doubtful when ordering this but when I painted my nails with it I saw infinite possibilities for nail art…
Cult Nails’ Fetish is the perfect rubbery black matte with incredible attributes; it is very easy to apply, basically opaque at one coat and naturally dries very fast.
Nubar’s Terra-Cotta and H&M’s Two Way Nail Art Pen in black. My first try so the result is… well. 🙂
Nubar’s Terra-Cotta is a heavily pigmented burnt reddish orange with Nubars amazing formula. It clearly is more appropriate during fall but I like it like this too 🙂
Today Nordic Cap’s teal number 20 is the base for some mattified stamping with Chanel’s Peridot 🙂
Even though I enjoy wearing my cremes alone I usually end up creating some kind of nail art on top. This time there’s no nail art but a wonderful addition to NYX’s Extreme Purple is Cult Nails’ Flushed (the amount of pictures is directly proportional…).
Flushed is a lovely purple base with color shifting shimmer that has an incredible glow…
