I was in the mood for a simple dotticure over white and decided on OPI’s Alpine Snow for the base and Nordic Cap’s intense pink 14 with smaller dots of Sinful Colors’ pink shimmer Forget Now on top.

Easter eggs
There hasn’t been many opportunities to paint Easter theme manicures this year but it’s Nail Art Sunday over at LeLack’s…
I used Gina Tricot’s yellow creme Aspen Gold and Nubar’s black glitter topper Black Polka Dot. The idea was to mimic a certain kind of easter candy that you can see in the bottom picture (although only beige ones are pictured); small mottled eggs in happy colors… I feel like I cheated somehow š
Pretty & Polished’s Party On My Yacht
Pretty & Polished’s Party On My Yacht is such a pretty indie. With a milky base and a ton of small hex glitter in purple, pink, green and gold and the odd stray blue bar glitter it looks amazing on your nails.
Party On My Yacht applied like a dream, was opaque at two coats, the glitters were distributed evenly and dried fast enough.
Jade’s PsicodĆ©lica
It’s Holo Friday over at Skimmerskuggan’s!
Jade’s PsicodĆ©lica is a silvery holographic with a strong linear effect. I used five coats for this and there’s still visible nail line so next time I’ll remember to use some kind of underwear to let it pop a bit more… Application was flawless despite the sheerness and as usual with holos it dried fast.
Nails Inc’s Topping Lane
It’s Pink Thursday over at Emma’s!
I love Nails Inc’s Sprinkles collection! Topping Lane is a bubblegum pink base full of silver, blue/purple and fuchsia glitter. Application was flawless but I layered it over Kleancolor’s Pastel Pink to reduce the amount of coats needed for opacity.
Misa’s Toxic Seduction
It’s Green Wednesday today at Vacker&Underbar’s and I decided to show some old pictures of a lovely polish. Misa’s Toxic Seduction is a lovely dark green shimmer with hints of blue. This was my first try at Misa’s polishes and I’m quite impressed by both the color and the formula of this one and looking forward tro trying the ones from my recent haul.
Application was flawless and two coats were enough for opacity.
Hauls and swaps: Misa haul and some other lovelies
I ordered a bunch of Misa’s polishes from Boozyshop’sĀ sale (beware that their shipping calculator isn’t working very well for international customers. I got an invoice to pay more for shipping the day after I paid for my order and it said nothing about it when I placed the order itself) and they arrived today.
L-R: Secrets, Green With Envy, Wishing On A Star and Dying Love. I’m so excited about combining Green With Envy and Dying Love in some kind of tape manicure š
L-R: Fatal Affair, Shop Til You Drop, Sorry Just Can’t Help It, Total Eclipse Of The Heart, and Chocolate Icing. Amazing purples and a lovely chocolate shimmer. Mmm…
L-R: Models Own’s Hot Stuff, Freak Out! and Disco Inferno ordered from Asos.
L-R: Butter London’s Pillar Box Red which followed the Misa’s from Boozyshop + Deborah Lippmann’s Across the Universe and Essie’s Matte About You which I swapped for. Awesome! š
Planks for the Bling
Sinful Colors’ Kissy
It’s Blue Monday over at Lindas Nailorama!
One thing I love about Sinful Colors is the huge amount of blue and green polishes they sell, in a variety of hues and finishes. Kissy is a teal jelly packed with small glass flecks and micro shimmer. The formula was a little bit runny and wanted to pool around the cuticles. Three coats was needed for full opacity and color depth.
Great Bow
It’s Nail Art Sunday over at LeLack again! My favorite day of the week polish wise š the theme for this week was free and since I just love to combine stamping and dotting I decided on using both techniques together with a rhinestone.
Gina Tricot’s alizarine red creme Great Love (color accurate pictures here) is the base for some dotting and stamping with China Glaze’sĀ white creme Snow. .
As usual there’s smudging from when I applied top coat. I really need to be more patient š it’s just not a virtue of mine…
