With Nubar’s pink Rouge as the base I stamped paisley print with Gina Tricot’s bright yellow Lemon. Happy and summery 🙂
This post is long overdue since I use this one over and over in nail art. Gina Tricot’s Aspen Gold is THE BEST yellow polish I own. The formula is amazing (especially for a yellow polish) and application was a treat. It needs three thin coats for opacity and dries fast.
(The second best yellow polish I own is Gina Tricot’s Must Have… They’re doing something right :))
It’s Nail Art Sunday over at Lelack’s 🙂
Saran wrap manicures are still new to me; I have created just one besides this one and needed some more practice. I used Gina Tricot’s red creme Formula One for the base and Gina Tricot’s yellow Aspen Gold over it. Both polishes are amazing but together they look a little bit too much like… well. Mustard and ketchup, anyone? 🙂
There hasn’t been many opportunities to paint Easter theme manicures this year but it’s Nail Art Sunday over at LeLack’s…
I used Gina Tricot’s yellow creme Aspen Gold and Nubar’s black glitter topper Black Polka Dot. The idea was to mimic a certain kind of easter candy that you can see in the bottom picture (although only beige ones are pictured); small mottled eggs in happy colors… I feel like I cheated somehow 😀
Time for the yellow polish of the Etude House’s Sweet Recipe Ice Cream Nails quartet; Lemon Sherbet.
This one was hard to capture accurately because of both the color and the amount of different glitters in it. I can see medium sized hex glitters in yellow, red, green, orange and white. White bar, square and tiny hex glitter and small brownish glitter. The yellow isn’t as vibrant as in these pictures (more pastely) and most of the glitters sink into the base as you can see.
It needed about three coats to get even and opaque but there were no issues with application besides bar glitter wanting to eascape the nail but that isn’t unusual in any way when it comes to that kind of glitter. My only disappointment was that Lemon Sherbet looks prettier and more colorful in the bottle.
Another very easter appropriate polish 🙂 I bought mine here but there are a multitude of other sellers on Ebay too.
Gina Tricot’s bright yellow creme Aspen Gold begged for something colorful to team up with and KBShimmer’s Bejeweled was happy to help 🙂 This weeks theme for Nail Art Sunday @ LeLack was gradients… I cheated and decided to do a simple glitter gradient.
With Essie’s Going Incognito as the base I dotted flowers with Gina Tricot’s light green Another Bite. For the centers I used Gina Tricot’s yellow Aspen Gold and China Glaze’s Four Leaf Clover (which was also used for the dots between the flowers).
It’s Green Wednesday again over at Vacker&Underbar 😀
I love splatter manicures in bright colors and Gina Tricot’s bright yellow creme Aspen Gold was begging me to use it. On top I added some of China Glaze’s purple creme Grape Pop with a straw. As usual with splatter manicures the splats are a bit uneven and some are just large blobs of color but I have to say I like it… the randomness of it 🙂
As usual Gina Tricot’s creme polishes are wonderful and Aspen Gold itself is as good as it gets with yellow cremes 🙂
Ahh, more dots! I just love the combination of purple and yellow in both manicures and other stuff like clothes and jewelry. This kind of pattern appeals to me a lot because of the endless possibilities of variation and the symmetry. I love symmetry 😛
