Candy in the Alps

Way back when I still had a more oval nail shape and hadn’t set up my photo tent I wanted to create some kind of candy themed manicure. First I painted a base of OPI’s Alpine Snow (my favorite white polish of all time) and dotted Haribo candy on top with Nubar’s Sexy Red, China Glaze’s green Starboard and OPI’s yellow Candlelight. I added some pink dots with Sally Hansen’s Party Hard-Y.

Planks for the Bling

Ahh, OPI’s Planks A Lot was the perfect underwear for two coats of China Glaze’s glitter topper Bling It On.  Black bar glitter, tiny black glitter, large and medium sized black hex glitter and tiny and medium sized purple hex glitter? Yeah, all of that! Busy is the most accurate description 🙂

Dotty splatter thingy

Green Wednesday over at Vacker&Underbar’s!

Ahh, I got the inspiration to do this dotted splatter manicure from a blog post but I cannot for the life of me remember which blog :/ Sigh. I loved the idea of dotted splatter manicures and decided to try it out…

OPI’s Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window was used for the base and China Glaze’s Snow and Orly’s Ancient Jade for the dotting.

OPI’s DS Desire

OPI’s DS Desire was part of a package from one of the lovely ladies of my birthday swap group last year. I squeeled with joy! As you can see the holohraphic effect is insane and the brownish golden color is so pretty.
