Rimmel London’s purple glassfleck Baby Bellini works good as the base for some stamping with Cheeky’s Jumbo Plate and Barry M’s Gold Foil. I just love purple and gold together in nail art 🙂

Rimmel London’s Baby Bellini
Rimmel London has released a small line of  Cocktail Colour glassfleck shimmery polishes. I ordered two from Asos and one of them broke in transit and now they’re all gone… Too bad as I like this one a lot and would probably have enjoyed the others as much.
This purple one is called Baby Bellini and is just incredibly awesome. I sure have a weakness for purple shimmers and glassflecks 🙂 application was flawless although three coats were needed for opacity.
Golden star
It’s Blue Monday over at Linda’s Nailorama 🙂
Ahh, Cheeky’s Jumbo plates are just awesome. Here I’ve stamped with Barry M’s Gold Foil over Orly’s dark dark blue shimmer Star of Bombay. I also added an accent of Chanel’s Peridot at each tip.

Revlon’s Ruby Ribbon
As mentioned before I found Revlon’s Ruby Ribbon in a clearance bin and decided to try it out despite my hestitation about the color itself being a bit… old. Ruby Ribbon is a dark ruby red shimmer that dries to a satiny matte finish. Application wise this polish was flawless; went on like butter, opaque at three thin coats and it did dry a little bit slower than other mattes in my experience.
The last picture is taken with a top coat on.
Strawberries for the kitty
Pink Thursday at Emma’s and it’s time for another (springy) cloud manicure 😀
I started out with two coats of Gina Tricot’s pastel pink Pick Me and added dotted clouds with China Glaze’s Strawberry Fields and Sally Hansen’s Yellow Kitty.
Moody Bug
H&M’s dark teal Moody Model was the base for a sponge gradient that started out with China Glaze’s mossy green Zombie Zest and was topped off with Fingerpaints’ blue and green toned flakie Flecked and Gina Tricot’s Blue Bug at the tips.
It’s Green Wednesday over at Vacker&Underbar’s today 🙂
H&M’s Moody Model
H&M’s Moody Model really is more of a autumn polish generally but I love the heavy pigmentation and lovely lovely dark teal leaning on blue. Application was almost flawless, it needed two generous coats for opacity and dried reasonably fast.
My camera was really acting up for these pictures… sorry about the quality.
Minty nudes
As I said…. Gina Tricot’s Nude isn’t a polish I would wear by itself but I decided to try creating some kind of nail art with it to see if I liked to use it for other purposes besides underwear. I used Nordic Cap’s 20 and 23 for the teal and purple dots and Wet N Wild’s I Need A Refresh-Mint for the blue dots.
